Electrical Project Engineer

About the role

Monadelphous is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to join its NSW Operations team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Project Manager, the engineer delivers electrical construction, commissioning and maintenance projects safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, providing technical expertise and engineering support across project and operational activities.

Key responsibilities

• Support the delivery of electrical projects from planning through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate project schedules, resources, procurement and technical activities.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks and drive successful project outcomes.
• Review electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation.
• Prepare and maintain quality and commissioning documentation.
• Build relationships with clients, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental and industry standards.
• Contribute to tendering, project planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Australia-recognised degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience delivering projects in the energy, utilities, infrastructure, industrial or resources sectors.
• Exposure to substations, HV electrical systems, protection, control and/or SCADA environments.
• Full Australian working rights.
