Electrical Engineer – Buildings (Queensland)

About the role

As an Electrical Engineer in our Queensland Buildings group, you’ll join a high‑performing, collaborative team. You will use your experience in the building sector to contribute to a growing pipeline of projects across aviation, commercial, defence, data centres, precincts, sporting facilities and major event infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop electrical engineering advice and designs for medium to large scale projects.
• Support senior engineers from concept through to delivery, ensuring quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create integrated, practical design solutions.
• Assist with project coordination, delivery and reporting, maintaining client relationships.
• Take ownership of portions of electrical designs and grow into senior delivery roles.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience delivering electrical design in consulting, contractor or client‑side environments, preferably within the building sector.
• Proven ability to contribute to projects valued between $20M‑$50M.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive attitude with ownership of outcomes; baseline security clearance is desirable.
