Earthworks Superintendent (Pit 3)

About the role

The Earthworks Superintendent will lead subcontractor planning, safety, quality and technical activities on the Ranger uranium mine rehabilitation project. This role ensures that earthworks are executed safely, on schedule and in alignment with stakeholder requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and direct subcontractor activities, reviewing schedules, resource charts, and material/equipment needs.
• Approve construction methods, manning charts and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and vendor requirements.
• Coordinate with field engineers, foremen and craft professionals to interpret design documents and resolve constructability issues.
• Lead interface management to align external activities with overall project schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) with 10‑13 years of relevant experience, or 14‑17 years without a degree.
• Demonstrated leadership in Environmental, Safety and Health (ES&H) and zero‑incident programs.
• Extensive experience in large‑scale civil construction, bulk earthworks and de‑watering processes.

Required skills

• Bulk earthworks and earthmoving fleet management.
• De‑watering processes for large projects.
• EPCM contract management and subcontractor oversight.
• Construction technologies and supervisory functions for field activities.
• Knowledge of civil industry quality standards and geotextile installation on tailings dams.
