About the role

Eden Academy Woodridge is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to cover a 7‑month maternity leave period. You will join a child‑safe, nurturing environment that operates from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm, providing high‑quality care and learning for young children.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality early education and care aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Design and implement engaging, age‑appropriate programs that promote school readiness.
• Facilitate meaningful conversations and activities that inspire curiosity and resilience.
• Build strong connections with families and the local community.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood) or ACECQA‑approved equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Full Australian working rights.
• Professional, polished presence with a warm approach.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver inspiring Kindergarten programs.
• Two professional references, one from a manager or supervisor in childcare or education.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
