Early Childhood Educator Trainee (Certificate III)

About the role

St Nicholas is offering a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care work-based traineeship at its Medowie centre. No prior qualifications are required. As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator you will help implement daily routines for children and contribute to programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), play-based learning and the emerging skills and interests of children.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of daily routines for children
• Contribute to the development of programs reflecting the EYLF and play-based learning
• Help plan, implement, evaluate and reflect on programs that match children's emerging skills and interests

Required profile

• No prior qualifications required
• Ability to complete the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113)
• Valid Working with Children Check verification number
• Passion for early childhood education

Required skills

• Computer literacy to document learning stories
• Knowledge of the EYLF and play-based learning
