Early Childhood Educator – Berrimah

About the role

Goodstart Berrimah is looking for a passionate Educator to join its early childhood team. You will work alongside Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to design and deliver high‑quality learning experiences for children in a safe, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate daily learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Collaborate with Senior Educators and the Educational Leader to continuously improve curriculum and teaching practices.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s wellbeing and development.
• Observe, document and report on children’s progress and milestones.
• Engage with families and the wider community to promote strong partnerships.

Required profile

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
• Current NT Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to safety, inclusivity and child‑centred practice.

Required skills

• Ability to develop age‑appropriate learning activities.
• Effective communication with children, families and team members.
• Organisational skills for documentation and program planning.
