Early Childhood Education Teacher (Casual)

About the role

Aroha Services offers relief and permanent positions in childcare, early learning centres, outside school hours care, long day care and vacation care across Perth and surrounding areas. It is recruiting an Early Childhood Education Teacher (ECT) for its Casual team, based in Perth metro and regional areas, to deliver kindergarten programs in a long day care setting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver kindergarten programs within a long day care setting
• Plan and implement engaging programs that support children's development and growth
• Create a friendly, secure and stimulating learning environment

Required profile

• Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) and TRBWA registration
• At least 6 months of paid work experience in the industry
• Availability to work at least 2-3 shifts per week
• Full working rights in Australia, with proof (passport, visa or birth certificate)
• National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months
• Willingness to travel and work across various locations as needed
• Immunisation history, influenza vaccination and full Covid-19 vaccination

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standard (Educational Program and Practice)
• Strong documentation and administrative skills
• Critical thinking about Early Years Learning Frameworks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
