Domestic Assistant - Ellenbrook and Surrounds

About the role

Silverchain is recruiting a Domestic Assistant for a casual role, mainly needed on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9:00am and 3:00pm. The assistant supports clients to stay independent through domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support, travelling between clients' homes and following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app.

Key responsibilities

• Provide domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks
• Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs
• Provide social support and help clients stay engaged in their community
• Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients' homes
• Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently

Required profile

• Resides in one of the listed suburbs around Ellenbrook (Aveley, Baskerville, Belhus, Bennett Springs, Bailup, Brabham, Brigadoon, Bullsbrook, Bellevue, Chittering, Caversham, Dayton, Ellenbrook, Henley Brook, Herne Hill, Lower Chittering, Middle Swan, Midvale, Stratton, Millendon, Morangup, Jane Brook, The Vines, Upper Swan, West Swan, Whiteman, Red Hill, Gidgegannup, Viveash, Swan View, Midland or Woodbridge)
• 3-6 months of domestic or industrial cleaning experience
• Valid driver's licence with unrestricted access to a registered, insured and in good condition vehicle
• Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
