About the role
Join a world‑class team supporting Australia’s defence diving systems. As a Diving & Hyperbaric Technician based in Caringbah, you will maintain critical life‑support equipment, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Disassemble, test and re‑assemble commercial and defence diving equipment, including hyperbaric systems and military rebreathers.
- Perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing on equipment.
- Carry out planned and corrective maintenance activities.
- Complete and maintain accurate service documentation, drawings and work instructions.
Required profile
- Mechanical trade qualification (preferred).
- Ability to obtain security access to Australian Defence establishments and hold a police clearance.
- Computer literate with basic knowledge of the MS Office suite.
Required skills
- Servicing hyperbaric systems.
- Servicing breathing apparatus or diving equipment.
- Hydrostatic testing.
- Pneumatic testing.
- MS Office proficiency.
