Distribution Business Manager

About the role

The Distribution Business Manager (DBM) drives HP's commercial success through its Australian distribution partners. The role manages distributor relationships and business performance, combining commercial leadership, strategic business planning and operational excellence to deliver revenue growth, profitability and market share. It works across One HP, collaborating with internal teams and partners to strengthen channel capability.

Key responsibilities

• Drive distributor revenue, profitability, market share and growth objectives
• Develop and execute joint business plans aligned to HP's priorities, with clear performance measures
• Build strong relationships with distributor leadership and influence priorities
• Manage distribution fundamentals such as inventory health, product availability, sell-through and forecasting
• Analyse performance, market trends and competitive activity to spot opportunities and risks
• Manage partner programs and commercial investments for maximum return
• Work with HP Sales, Category, Finance and Operations teams
• Lead regular business reviews, performance discussions and planning

Required profile

• Experience in IT channel sales, distribution or commercial account management
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business performance drivers
• Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Collaborative, proactive and results-focused approach
