About the role
Unidex Healthcare, a national recruitment agency specialising in healthcare, disability services and allied health, is recruiting experienced support workers for a 60-year-old participant in Laidley, Queensland, who has a back injury. The role covers additional shifts allocated to the client so that the current support team can provide the best possible care.
Key responsibilities
- Personal care and hygiene
- Assistance with complex bowel care
- Domestic assistance and meal preparation
- Medication management
- Manual handling and hoisting, including use of a sling hoist and transfers
Required profile
- Certificate III in Individual Support (minimum requirement)
- Australian driver's licence
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Current Blue Card and Yellow Card
Required skills
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed
- NDIS Support effective communication module completed
