Director/Executive Director, Funds – Financial Institutions Group

About the role

This senior position leads ANZ’s Superannuation segment growth strategy within the Financial Institutions Group. You will translate the broader segment strategy into clear priorities, client focus areas, and actionable growth initiatives, delivering superior outcomes for a diverse portfolio of funds clients.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ANZ’s Superannuation sector strategy, turning strategic goals into concrete initiatives.
• Manage and grow a portfolio of priority funds clients, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
• Develop and execute account strategies to deepen relationships, expand share of wallet, and drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Originate and progress complex deal opportunities, collaborating with product partners and specialist coverage teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions across Corporate Finance, Markets, and Transaction Banking.
• Maintain strong portfolio discipline, including proactive credit management, risk identification, and adherence to Credit Risk and Non‑Financial Risk policies.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in institutional banking or funds management.
• Demonstrated ability to build deep, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
• Excellent strategic thinking and execution skills, capable of aligning cross‑functional and regional teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of credit risk management frameworks.
• Understanding of corporate finance, capital markets, and transaction banking solutions.
