Director Product Management - Transport Solutions

About the role

Teletrac Navman is looking for an accomplished Director of Product Management for its Transport Solutions portfolio. The role leads a global product portfolio covering devices, OEM data, mobile and AI-based solutions, with end-to-end ownership of a commercially critical product line. It is a hybrid position based in Melbourne or Sydney.

Key responsibilities

• Set the product vision and roadmap for transport solutions, grounded in customer insight, market intelligence and data-driven decisions
• Lead, coach and inspire a team of Product Managers and Product Owners in a matrixed, multi-time-zone environment
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations and external partners to deliver market-leading solutions
• Influence senior stakeholders globally and hold them accountable for strategic and delivery outcomes
• Embed AI and emerging technologies into product execution, prototyping and innovation
• Own the global product strategy, roadmap and lifecycle; present business cases for major investments and new products
• Drive financial, usage and engagement KPIs, pricing strategy and value-based commercial models
• Own go-to-market execution, sales enablement, customer engagement and industry representation
• Oversee product launches, transitions and end-of-life strategies
• Build a high-performance product culture through coaching and mentoring

Required profile

• 8+ years as a senior product leader in Enterprise SaaS and IoT hardware, ideally in transport, logistics or telematics
• Proven track record leading product management teams of 5-7+ direct reports
• Experience in pricing, financial modelling and portfolio performance management
• Able to work in global, matrix organisations and influence at executive level
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Science or Business (MBA highly regarded)
