Director, People

About the role

KBR is seeking a Director, People to lead the strategic and operational people agenda across its Australian operations. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, you will partner with senior leaders to align workforce capability, culture and employee experience with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a high‑performing people strategy that supports business success and an inclusive culture.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, talent management, succession planning and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Provide strategic advice on organisational effectiveness, leadership capability, culture and people risk.
• Oversee employee and industrial relations, including Enterprise Agreements and compliance obligations.

Required profile

• Senior HR executive with proven experience in complex, geographically dispersed organisations.
• Trusted advisor to executive leaders, able to translate business priorities into workforce strategies.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance business priorities, workforce considerations and organisational risk.

Required skills

• Deep expertise in workforce planning, organisational design, employee and industrial relations, and organisational change.
• Extensive knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relations frameworks.
