Director of Treasury

About the role

Our client, a high‑growth, capital‑intensive infrastructure business operating across North America, Europe and APAC, is establishing a senior treasury function. Reporting to the VP Finance, the Director of Treasury will own post‑close obligations across the group’s financing portfolio and work closely with capital markets.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a post‑close obligations framework, including debt register, payment calendars, covenant compliance and lender reporting.
• Manage daily cash positioning and liquidity for a multi‑entity, multi‑jurisdiction group in partnership with FP&A.
• Design and implement treasury policies, procedures and controls, rolling them out across acquired entities.
• Oversee global transactional banking relationships, bank account structures and KYC/AML requirements.
• Lead the implementation of a treasury management system integrated with SAP and banking platforms, ensuring alignment with SOX/ICFR.
• Monitor interest‑rate hedging, hedge effectiveness and provide treasury risk reporting to the CFO and Board.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in treasury, finance, risk or operations within complex organisations.
• Proven ability to translate legal and financing documentation into robust processes and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in listed‑company control environments (SOX/ICFR) and exposure to treasury management systems.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications such as CA/CPA, CFA or CTP preferred.
