Director of Sales – Australia

About the role

The Director of Sales, Area Sales Office – Australia will lead a national sales team to drive revenue, grow market share and strengthen customer relationships for Hilton hotels across Australasia.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve revenue goals by building business, driving market share and expanding sales opportunities across Australia.
• Develop and implement sales plans, strategies and proposals aligned with Hilton’s commercial objectives.
• Hire, mentor and motivate a distributed team of sales professionals, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Coordinate trade shows, roadshows and customer engagement events, and support new hotel openings with pre‑opening sales planning.
• Maintain strong relationships with hotel management partners and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and responsiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) with at least 10 years of hospitality sales experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing large or distributed sales teams.
• Strong communication, analytical and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic plans and present business cases to senior leaders.
