Director of Customer Success – APAC

About the role

The Director of Customer Success will lead Daon's APAC customer success and delivery organisation, overseeing a team of technical project managers, consultants and professionals across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia. Reporting to the VP of Customer Success, the role combines strategic relationship management with hands‑on delivery oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the regional Customer Success and delivery team, setting priorities, performance expectations and fostering a culture of accountability.
• Own end‑to‑end customer outcomes – onboarding, adoption, time‑to‑value, retention and expansion.
• Maintain senior executive relationships, act as escalation point for strategic customers and represent the customer voice within Daon.
• Oversee delivery performance across the project portfolio, ensuring governance, risk and issue management.
• Partner with Sales on new business, develop solution estimates, statements of work and identify billable services opportunities.
• Provide regular regional reporting to executive leadership and drive a data‑informed approach to customer success.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience in customer success, professional services, delivery management or consulting leadership.
• Proven track record leading geographically distributed, customer‑facing technical teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise software projects to demanding customers.
• Strong commercial judgement and senior‑level relationship management skills.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent practical experience.
