Digital Engineering Production Lead - Aviation

About the role

AECOM's ANZ Aviation team is looking for a Digital Engineering Production Lead to contribute to airport engineering projects across civil and military aviation. The team delivers technical solutions from master planning and feasibility through detailed design, construction and handover, working with investors, operators, contractors and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver airport engineering projects such as runways, taxiways, aprons, service roads, ground lighting, signage, navigational aids, drainage, utility relocations and pavement rehabilitation.
• Produce high-quality 2D drawings and data-rich digital deliverables, using automation and scripting to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Maintain models and project documentation in ProjectWise and Autodesk Construction Cloud, supporting BIM delivery under ISO 19650 and project BIM Execution Plans.
• Ensure tasks are delivered on time and accurately, aligned with project programmes, budgets and quality expectations.
• Collaborate with airport planners, architects, engineers and digital delivery specialists, and take part in client and stakeholder meetings.
• Carry out model validation, design coordination and clash detection in line with AECOM's quality management systems.
• Help improve digital delivery standards, templates, libraries and best practices.

Required profile

• Experience managing and coordinating digital delivery on multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects (highly desired).
• Experience supporting civil engineering and aviation projects in design, planning and construction (highly desired).
• Knowledge of civil aviation standards and recommended practices (CASA, ICAO, EASA, CAA, FAA, MAA) (highly desired).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of BIM processes.
• ProjectWise, BIM 360 / ACC and Navisworks Manage.
