Diesel Fitter – Mining Project Near Glenden

About the role

Myndshift Group is recruiting Diesel Fitters for a specific mining project near the township of Glenden, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The work involves repairs and preventative maintenance on a large truck fleet of Hitachi, CAT and Liebherr electric and mechanical trucks. This is a labour hire engagement with temp-to-perm opportunities and a 3-year contract extension.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on the CAT, Hitachi and Liebherr fleet
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Contribute to a safety-first culture
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

Required profile

• Australian-recognised trade
• Experience with Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME), ideally in surface mining
• Team player who steps up when needed
• Current driver's licence, Standard 11 certificate, current Coal Board medical, proof of Australian working rights, national police check
