Diesel Fitter - FIFO Projects

About the role

Exact Contracting is looking for trade-qualified Diesel Fitters with mobile plant experience to join its maintenance teams on civil construction projects in South Australia. The work is on a FIFO basis, and you will service, diagnose faults, repair and carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance of company-owned mobile plant.

Key responsibilities

• Servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs of mobile plant
• Scheduled and breakdown maintenance of company-owned equipment
• Working on heavy mobile plant such as excavators, dozers, graders, loaders, scrapers and haul trucks

Required profile

• Heavy diesel trade qualification (Certificate III or IV)
• At least 2 years' experience maintaining earthmoving or road transport equipment
• Unrestricted driver's licence and construction white card
• Commitment to health and safety, teamwork and results orientation
• Pass a national police clearance, pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen before starting
