DevOps Engineer – Secure Technology Environments

About the role

As a DevOps Engineer you will work closely with development teams to support the full technology stack, from infrastructure to applications, ensuring high performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Ansible and CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment scripts, monitoring and logging tools.
• Integrate applications with infrastructure, implement security controls, auditing and compliance measures.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues and optimise resources using Elasticsearch, APM, Beats and Kibana dashboards.
• Maintain infrastructure diagrams, deployment documentation and troubleshooting guides.
• Contribute to Agile delivery through sprint planning, daily stand‑ups and code reviews.

Required profile

• Current NV1, NV2 or TSPV security clearance.
• 3+ years’ experience in DevOps, software development or a related field.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills.
• Ability to analyse technical requirements and recommend strategic direction.
