Deputy Dealership Accountant – Liverpool

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Deputy Dealership Accountant to join its Liverpool head office. This permanent, full‑time position supports the finance team in managing the financial operations of a manufacturer‑owned dealership. Training will be provided for candidates with strong financial acumen, even if they are new to the motor‑trade sector.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the senior accountant with day‑to‑day financial processing for the dealership.
• Prepare and post invoices, process payments and reconcile bank statements.
• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and support month‑end closing activities.
• Produce financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with motor‑trade regulations and internal control procedures.
• Liaise with dealership staff, suppliers and external partners to resolve accounting queries.

Required profile

• Experienced financial professional with a detail‑oriented approach.
• Background in the automotive industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to learn and apply motor‑trade specific processes.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work within a busy dealership environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Motor Trade‑specific DMS platforms.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
