About the role
The Depot Area Manager will report to the General Manager and lead a team of Depot Supervisors across Queensland. This 3‑month secondment role involves hands‑on support to drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency and compliance across all depots.
Key responsibilities
- Visit each depot weekly to ensure presentation, compliance and maintenance schedules are met.
- Provide on‑the‑ground support to depot teams, encouraging a positive work environment aligned with TOMRA values.
- Drive performance through people and technology, delivering agile solutions and exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain safety culture by documenting procedures, conducting proactive safety conversations and ensuring adherence.
- Assist with safety, inventory, rostering and timesheet approval while supporting business growth initiatives.
Required profile
- Certificate IV Frontline Manager or equivalent.
- 3‑5+ years experience leading people.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Professional and positive attitude.
