Department Manager (30 hrs) – Retail Leadership Role

About the role

As a Department Manager you will lead a retail team, foster an inclusive culture and drive sales performance while upholding H&M’s values and visual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team to deliver outstanding customer experience and maintain operational and visual standards.
• Analyse sales performance, identify commercial opportunities, set goals and create plans to optimise results, profits and stock levels.
• Manage team planning, scheduling and ensure smooth opening and closing routines.
• Recruit, onboard and develop staff, promoting an inclusive and collaborative environment.
• Stay updated on fashion trends, customer preferences and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
• Represent the brand positively in all customer interactions.

Required profile

• Experience in retail management and operations.
• Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and developing teams.
• Expertise in sales planning, analysis and follow‑up using customer‑centric tools and reporting.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, dynamic environment and deliver great customer experiences.
