Deals Management Consultant (Senior Manager)

About the role

PwC Australia is hiring a Deals Management Consultant (Senior Manager) in its Advisory line of service. Based in one of its PwC offices in Australia, the role supports clients across corporate, financial services, technology and other sectors through mergers, acquisitions, restructuring and strategic alliances, covering the entire deal lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor, addressing clients' unique needs with insightful commercial and technical analysis
• Support clients through the full deal lifecycle, from M&A to restructuring and strategic alliances
• Leverage emerging technologies and innovative tools to improve client experience and deliver smart solutions
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams, coordinate stakeholders and contribute to thought leadership and team development

Required profile

• Degree in business, finance, technology, law or a related field; postgraduate qualifications highly regarded
• Experience in due diligence, IT strategy, M&A strategy or management consulting
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with high-quality deliverables
• Solid understanding of the Australian market and deal environment

Required skills

• Commercial acumen and strong communication, collaboration and business writing skills
• Preferred: financial modelling, financial statement analysis, capital IQ, customer due diligence, deal structures and corporate development

What we offer

• Minimum salary of AUD 89,000 including superannuation for a Senior Associate; higher grades earn more within the salary bands
