Data Visualisation & Business Intelligence Analyst

About the role

James Hardie Industries is seeking a full‑time Data Visualisation and Business Intelligence Analyst to join its Sydney CBD team. Reporting to the Customer and Analytics Manager, you will help improve data accuracy, support reporting optimisation and enable better decision‑making across Operations and Commercial.

Key responsibilities

• Perform raw data reviews for consistency, completeness and accuracy, and assess implications of changes.
• Interpret data, analyse results and identify trends related to key performance indicators.
• Collaborate with Operations and Commercial stakeholders to understand reporting and data needs.
• Facilitate workshops to drive business uptake of BI reports, dashboards and self‑service tools.
• Maintain data integrity, report inconsistencies and work with data‑warehousing consultants on database design.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree, Masters or MBA in a relevant field.
• 3‑5 years of enterprise data management and BI experience.
• Strong data management and integration experience within SAP environments.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
• BW query and SAP database knowledge.
• Data visualisation tools such as Tableau and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• ETL tools experience, e.g., Alteryx.
