About the role
A Local Council is looking for a reliable, detail‑oriented Data Entry & Customer Service Officer to support the maintenance and expansion of its national register. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, providing customer assistance, and contributing to accurate record‑keeping in a community‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately enter and update information into the national register.
- Maintain data integrity across systems and spreadsheets.
- Provide customer service support via phone and email enquiries.
- Assist with record management and documentation processes.
- Work with Excel spreadsheets to organise and manage data.
- Ensure all tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Required profile
- Organised, dependable and able to manage repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative support roles.
- Strong customer service skills with a professional communication style.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
