Data Engineer

About the role

Ticketek Entertainment Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and solutions that support our live entertainment business. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Site Reliability Engineers and Data Scientists to deliver secure, high‑quality data services.

Key responsibilities

• Technical Delivery: Build batch and streaming pipelines while ensuring data privacy, security, observability and governance.
• Business Alignment: Translate business requirements into robust data‑driven solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Partner with SRE and Data Science teams to maintain pipeline stability, uptime and data quality.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data profiling, ETL development, SQL optimisation and large‑scale data processing.
• Proficiency with relational (SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, as well as streaming frameworks such as Kafka, Spark, Airflow and Delta Lake.
