Data Centre Project Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Centre Project Manager at Manager or Senior Manager level to lead the planning, design and pre‑construction phases of a major data centre campus. You will act as an integrated extension of the client’s team, ensuring high‑quality design outcomes and robust governance.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, priorities and project objectives.
• Lead front‑end planning and project management activities for a complex data centre campus development.
• Drive design quality by aligning processes with project guidelines, standards and client expectations.
• Track and manage key design milestones across concept, planning and detailed design phases.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and develop mitigation strategies.
• Support transition from design to procurement, including construction tender and funding processes.
• Coordinate consultants, designers and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress.
• Prepare reports, governance updates and project controls for decision‑making bodies.

Required profile

• Proactive, commercially aware professional with direct data centre or mission‑critical experience.
• Strong ability to coordinate complex workstreams and maintain momentum across design milestones.
• Experience guiding projects through detailed design, construction tendering and funding stages.
