Data Analyst – SAS Viya, SQL & Python/R

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join a high‑performing multidisciplinary team delivering enterprise data products on a modern cloud data platform. The role involves designing, building and maintaining robust data assets while collaborating with business stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights that support critical outcomes for a national government agency.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy and maintain enterprise‑wide data assets and data products.
• Analyse, profile and validate complex datasets to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Translate business requirements into coded data transformations and new data attributes.
• Prototype analytical solutions and support reporting needs.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders, documenting solutions and contributing to team objectives.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship with ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance.
• Extensive experience analysing complex datasets and delivering high‑quality data solutions.
• Strong background working within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
