Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join Lumi’s fast‑growing fintech team. You will work closely with business and product initiatives such as the Broker Quoting Tool and Embedded Finance, turning business questions into rigorous, data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product and business stakeholders to frame analytical questions and design sound analyses.
• Apply hypothesis‑driven thinking and experimental design to test assumptions and build a cumulative knowledge base.
• Deliver end‑to‑end analyses, from data extraction using the governed semantic layer to clear recommendations.
• Drive an experimentation mindset across teams, turning decisions into testable hypotheses and tracking outcomes.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and the Data Architecture & Strategy Lead to prioritize analytical focus.
• Document and share analyses that demonstrably influence decisions, not just dashboards.

Required profile

• Strong grounding in hypothesis‑driven analysis, experimental design, and statistical interpretation.
• Ability to identify appropriate analytical approaches and recognise when assumptions need testing.
• Curious problem‑solver with a passion for turning data into actionable business insights.
