Data Analyst (7‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our Data & Analytics function on a 7‑month contract. You will support the availability, performance and optimisation of enterprise data platforms, including the Enterprise Data Warehouse, Microsoft Power Platform and BI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the reliability, performance and health of the EDW, Power Platform and BI solutions.
• Act as a technical liaison between development teams, technology operations and business stakeholders.
• Investigate and resolve data and analytics incidents within agreed service levels.
• Contribute to the development, testing and implementation of data solutions while upholding architecture standards.
• Support governance, compliance, security and audit processes, and assist in business continuity planning.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) and administrative capabilities.
• SQL Server (2008 or later) and strong SQL, DAX and Power Query proficiency.
• Experience with Azure Analytics Stack – Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks (highly desirable).
• Understanding of dimensional modelling, ETL principles and T‑SQL scripting.
• Exposure to MDX (desirable).
