Cybersecurity Engineer – SOC & Cloud Security

About the role

Triskele Labs is seeking a Security Engineer to join its Engineering team. You will deploy and maintain security solutions for a range of clients while also supporting the company’s internal infrastructure. The role involves hands‑on work with SIEM, EDR, mail‑gateway platforms and cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy SOC services at client sites, handling ad‑hoc and non‑standard configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within SOC environments.
• Conduct onsite security assessments and architecture reviews.
• Create detailed SOC architecture diagrams for implementation and documentation.
• Deploy, manage and maintain cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and Microsoft 365.
• Provide escalation‑level technical assistance for internal systems.
• Implement and maintain internal tools to meet evolving operational needs.
• Secure Triskele Labs infrastructure and SaaS systems.
• Drive knowledge sharing and technical uplift within the Engineering team.

Required profile

• Several years of hands‑on experience in security engineering, SOC engineering or infrastructure security.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, non‑standard environments end‑to‑end.
• Confidence working directly with clients on‑site for assessments, reviews and deployments.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in a related field (preferred but not mandatory).

Required skills

• SIEM platforms – Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk.
• EDR solutions – Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Rapid7 InsightIDR.
• Email security/mail‑gateway – Mimecast, Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
• Cloud services – Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365.
• Ability to produce clear architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
