Solution Consultant – AVEVA AIM & Integrated Solutions

About the role

The Consultant / Solution Consultant designs, configures and delivers AVEVA Asset Information Management (AIM) solutions for industrial customers in Australia. The position combines deep product knowledge with solution consulting and system‑integration expertise to enable digital transformation and information‑management initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in customer workshops, business‑process reviews and solution design sessions, then configure and implement AVEVA AIM according to best practices.
• Develop and support integrations between AIM and systems such as AVEVA PI, SAP, Maximo, SharePoint, OpenText and cloud platforms, handling data migration, synchronization and API troubleshooting.
• Deliver user training, workshops and knowledge‑transfer activities, and produce solution documentation and implementation plans.
• Support pre‑sales activities including demonstrations, proof‑of‑concepts and effort estimates.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and data issues while contributing reusable templates and accelerators.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise software implementation, solution consulting or system integration.
• Hands‑on experience with AVEVA Asset Information Management or similar engineering information‑management platforms.
• Proven delivery of software implementation or integration projects in mining, energy, utilities or related industrial sectors.
• Experience participating in customer workshops and pre‑sales technical engagements.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Australia and the APAC region.

Required skills

• AVeVA AIM configuration, information‑model and metadata management.
• REST APIs, XML, JSON and web‑service integration techniques.
• Development/scripting with C#.NET and PowerShell.
• SQL Server database design, reporting and data analysis.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
• Integration experience with SAP, Maximo, SharePoint and OpenText.
