About the role
Boeing Defence Australia is seeking an experienced Cyber Operations Specialist to join its team at RAAF Base Williamtown. You will be responsible for managing cyber incidents, strengthening operational resilience, and mentoring colleagues within a high‑profile defence programme that supports Australia’s national interests.
Key responsibilities
- Support the execution of critical information and cyber security work statements.
- Manage and respond to cyber incidents, including stakeholder communications.
- Develop and mature cyber operations processes and procedures.
- Identify and implement improvements in monitoring, detection, and vulnerability management.
- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative cyber operations environment.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver practical security outcomes.
Required profile
- Proven ability to triage, prioritise and respond to cyber incidents in a complex environment.
- Strong leadership and mentoring experience within cyber operations teams.
- Proactive, creative problem‑solver with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively while maintaining accountability for delivery.
