Cyber Analyst

About the role

Darktrace is seeking a Cyber Analyst to join its Security Operations team. In this role you will protect customers by analysing alerts, investigating network traffic, and delivering clear, actionable reports on emerging threats.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate security alerts and network traffic using the Darktrace platform and supporting tools.
• Draft technical reports for customers outlining identified threats and recommended remediation steps.
• Assist in risk assessments and the implementation of basic security controls.
• Identify emerging threat trends and analyse campaign activity across customer environments.
• Respond to customer inquiries via email or chat with concise, accurate information.
• Collaborate with team members to share strategies, best practices, and knowledge.
• Contribute to internal and external knowledge sharing, including technical blog posts.
• Support customers in adopting and optimising the Darktrace platform through consultancy efforts.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and incident response.

Required skills

• Familiarity with network protocols.
• Experience with the Darktrace platform (preferred).
