Customer Support Representative

About the role

Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Customer Support Representative to join its Revesby Branch. The role builds strong customer relationships, provides proactive support and helps maximise equipment performance while growing parts and service sales across the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and manage an assigned customer portfolio and call cycle across the territory.
• Identify opportunities to increase parts and service sales.
• Conduct machine inspections and give customers equipment health recommendations.
• Prepare and follow up parts and service quotations.
• Promote service agreements, preventative maintenance and aftermarket support solutions.
• Support customers through equipment deliveries and ongoing after-sales care.
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Maintain accurate customer records and opportunities in CRM systems.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, sales, account management or product support.
• Mechanical aptitude and an interest in construction/earthmoving machinery.
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory.

• Ability to work autonomously while managing a structured territory and customer base.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
