Customer Strategy Manager

About the role

Compass Education is looking for a Customer Strategy Manager to shape the next wave of product opportunities. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, product management and design, working across product teams to discover, prototype and hand‑over new solutions for schools.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and size opportunities across the product portfolio to create additional value for schools and educators.
• Run structured discovery with customers to uncover real needs and priorities.
• Develop commercial cases, exploring build, partner or buy options and presenting business cases to executives.
• Produce thoughtful prototypes using Figma and AI‑assisted design tools and test them with customers.
• Hand over concepts to product squads with clear briefs and stay involved as an advisor during early development.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of experience in product strategy, product design or a related field, preferably in SaaS or EdTech.
• Demonstrated design taste and judgement together with experience in financial modelling and commercial reasoning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work across multiple teams without a fixed home base.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma.
• Experience with AI‑assisted design tools.
