Customer Service Officer - Veterinary Animal Health

About the role

Apiam, a leading Australian veterinary and animal health business, is building a new Customer Service team in Melbourne. As a Customer Service Officer you will be a key point of contact for customers, supporting the supply of veterinary medicines and animal health products across Australia. The role works closely with Customer Experience, Supply Chain and Operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by phone, email and online channels
• Manage customer orders and enquiries from request through to resolution
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate with warehouses and operational teams
• Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer service, administration or order processing
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail, organisational skills and commitment to accuracy
• Resilient, adaptable and solutions-focused, able to manage changing priorities
• Long-term career mindset

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
• Nice to have: experience in veterinary wholesale, animal health or livestock; exposure to inventory, order management or ERP systems; experience in regulated or compliance-focused environments

During the initial onboarding phase, regular travel to Bendigo is required for hands-on training, and the company covers the costs.
