Customer Service Officer – Leisure Facility

About the role

The Aqua Jetty in Warnbro is one of the City's aquatic and health facilities, offering programs and facilities for the whole community and open 7 days a week. As a Customer Service Officer you will support the Customer Service Team Leader on the reception desk and in the merchandise shop, providing high levels of service to patrons. The position is temporary until 14 July 2027, part-time at 20 hours per fortnight, with a guaranteed minimum of 10 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service on the reception desk and in the merchandise shop
• Support the Customer Service Team Leader
• Handle customer queries and conflicts in a busy environment
• Work within the facility's opening hours: 5.00am to 9.00pm Monday to Friday and 6.30am to 7.00pm Saturday and Sunday

Required profile

• Experience in a similar customer service role, preferably in a leisure facility
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate and current CPR Certificate (essential)
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, and to manage time and plan own work
• Flexibility to work according to the facility's opening hours

Required skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Skills in using computer programs
• Administration skills
