Customer Service Officer

About the role

Cabrini Health is looking for a proactive, detail-focused Customer Service Officer for its Malvern hospital. The role is predominantly switchboard-based, with potential work in concierge and reception areas. It is a permanent part-time position of 22.5 hours per week. The department runs 6:00 AM to 11:00 PM, 365 days a year, and flexibility to cover a range of shifts, mainly weekdays, is preferred.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, patients and visitors
• Answer and redirect incoming calls through the switchboard system
• Greet patients and visitors at the main entrance and escort patients into the hospital
• Respond to emergency calls promptly and transmit messages accurately
• Give directions following the way-finding procedure
• Book taxis and couriers as requested
• Make patient transport bookings as required
• Assist with general enquiries
