Customer Service Officer

About the role

Sika Australia, a global manufacturer of construction chemicals serving the Construction, Industry, Marine and Mining sectors, is looking for a Customer Service Officer. The role handles inbound customer enquiries and supports the sales and logistics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Answer and respond to inbound phone calls about customer issues, delivery times, quotes, first-level technical product information, samples and other enquiries.
• Maintain the internal email mailbox.
• Process orders in SAP and handle order entry.
• Process invoices and credits.
• Liaise with freight providers for delivery coordination.
• Provide customer support and assist the Sales and Logistics teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service, call centre or a similar role is highly desired.
• Strong understanding of customer service principles.
• Self-motivated, quick learner with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.
• Valid Australian working rights.

Required skills

• Excellent computer and administrative skills.
• Order entry on SAP.
