Customer Service Officer

About the role

Cleanaway is seeking a motivated, people‑first Customer Service Officer to become the friendly, problem‑solving voice our customers rely on. You will build relationships, resolve issues and contribute to a sustainable future every day.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow customer relationships using strategies that boost retention, satisfaction and sales.
• Handle service requests through Salesforce CRM, aiming for first‑call resolution.
• Process pricing queries and coordinate compliance and approval escalations.
• Investigate, log and resolve customer complaints to achieve positive outcomes.
• Monitor and record inbound and outbound call and email activity.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer service or sales role.
• Proven ability to manage complaints and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Salesforce CRM experience is a plus, not mandatory.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.
