About the role
Amare Safety is looking for a Customer Service Officer to join its fast‑growing team in Rowville. The role is office‑based, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm, and focuses on delivering first‑class support to both external and internal customers.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound phone calls promptly and courteously.
- Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
- Enter customer orders into the ERP system and update online portals such as SAP Ariba and Tungsten.
- Provide support to the external sales team and national branch network.
- Maintain and build relationships with internal and external customers.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated, high‑performing individual with a mature work approach.
- 1‑2 years of phone‑based B2B customer service experience, preferably in an industrial or trade environment.
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and a customer‑first mindset.
- Valid Australian work rights.
- Safety or PPE product experience is a plus but not mandatory.
Required skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with ERP systems, specifically Jiwa Financials.
- Familiarity with SAP Ariba.
- Familiarity with Tungsten portal.
- Accurate data‑entry abilities and attention to detail.
