Customer Service Officer – Full‑time & Part‑time

About the role

Join the City of Gosnells’ friendly customer service team and help deliver high‑quality support to a diverse community of around 145,000 residents. You will respond to enquiries, resolve issues and build positive relationships across phone, web‑chat, email and face‑to‑face channels.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents via multiple channels (phone, web‑chat, email, in‑person).
• Respond promptly to enquiries, investigate and resolve issues efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records where required.
• Maintain up‑to‑date information in the council’s systems and ensure confidentiality.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a similar customer‑service role.
• Professional, empathetic approach with strong interpersonal skills.
• Excellent computer and administrative abilities.
• Experience in cash handling.
• Positive work attitude, strong work ethic and ability to build relationships with a range of stakeholders.
• Current National Police Clearance (to be provided after selection).
