Customer Service Consultant

About the role

You will provide first‑class support to residential customers of an Australian telco, handling inbound calls, troubleshooting basic issues and performing fault finding. The role is call‑centre based, with comprehensive training to help you grow your career in the telecom industry.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound customer calls across a rotating roster (8 am‑12 am, Monday‑Sunday, including public holidays).
• Diagnose and resolve technical and service‑related issues, guiding customers through step‑by‑step troubleshooting.
• Document interactions accurately in the company’s ticketing system.
• Escalate complex problems to specialised technical teams when required.
• Maintain service standards and contribute to a positive customer experience.

Required profile

• Commitment to a full‑time schedule of 37.5 hours per week.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Interest in the telecom sector (experience helpful but not essential).
• Genuine curiosity about IT and technology.
• Background in customer service or accounts.
• Confidence using computers and standard office software.
