Customer Service and Sales Consultant

About the role

Medibank is recruiting a Customer Service and Sales Consultant for its Karrinyup store, working 30 hours per week on a flexible rotating roster Monday to Friday with alternating Saturday work. Hours rotate between 8am and 8pm, and rostered hours after 5pm are working from home. The role is hybrid and may involve working at the Joondalup and Midland stores to support the wider team. Internally called a Local Community Consultant, the person acts as the face of Medibank in their area.

Key responsibilities

• Help customers choose the right health cover and services.
• Support customers across multiple channels: in-store, by phone, online and in the community.
• Build lasting relationships and trust through personalised conversations.
• Solve everyday challenges and share ideas to improve how the team works.

Required profile

• No health insurance experience needed; training is provided.
• Skills in customer service, sales, health, retail or community engagement are welcome.
• Great at building rapport and explaining things clearly.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
• Team player who is adaptable and proactive.
• Detail-focused and committed to protecting customer privacy.
