Customer Logistics Coordinator

About the role

The Customer Logistics Coordinator is the primary operational and logistics contact for Aurizon Bulk West customers. You will coordinate daily ordering, scheduling and service issues while driving operational improvements across rail, port and trucking services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer enquiries, orders, changes and disruptions, keeping customers informed.
• Strengthen relationships by identifying service improvements and tailoring logistics solutions.
• Plan and schedule services to optimise fleet utilisation and minimise costs.
• Coordinate the logistics network with providers, managing performance risks.
• Advise customers of forecast disruptions and lead recovery plans.
• Align internal services, set priorities and guide emergency responses.
• Partner with LiveRun for 0‑48‑hour handovers and emerging issues.
• Support portfolio growth by tailoring services to customer needs and increasing revenue.

Required profile

• Experience in customer‑facing logistics and operational scheduling.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and SharePoint.
• Clear communication skills across multiple channels.
• Strong customer focus and relationship‑building ability.
• Collaborative mindset with effective partnership skills.
• Sound decision‑making and process‑improvement orientation.
