Customer Field Technician I - Horsham

About the role

nbn is recruiting a Customer Field Technician I in Horsham, a full-time, permanent, field-based position. You will work independently to complete a range of tasks across different nbn technologies, helping connect homes and communities. Previous experience in telecommunications is not needed, as full training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Install copper or fibre cabling and set up customer equipment
• Identify and fix faults
• Support customers in their homes or businesses
• Work safely and follow nbn's safety procedures

Required profile

• Background in a trade, trade assistant or hands-on technical job, such as plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, labouring, construction or manufacturing
• Enjoys hands-on problem-solving and communicating with customers
• Comfortable working independently and managing your own workload
• Strong commitment to safety and clear communication skills
• Current, clean driver's licence
• Full working rights in Australia
