Customer Experience Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Experience Officer to deliver friendly, professional service to members, coaching students and visitors across all Tennis World areas, including court hire, membership, programs, social leagues, tournaments, the pro shop, tours, merchandise and the café.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous service via phone, email and face‑to‑face interactions.
• Assist customers with merchandise sales, court bookings and general tennis enquiries.
• Maintain front‑of‑house areas such as the pro shop and café, including coffee preparation, food handling and stock control.
• Support administration and customer service for tournaments, social leagues and other initiatives.
• Identify and recommend operational improvements to enhance the commercial viability of Tennis World.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and develop.
• Previous experience delivering high‑quality customer service, preferably in the sport or leisure sector.
• Willingness to obtain a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Flexibility to work varied hours as required by Tennis NSW.
